Mind Matters

mind matters is a commitment by the churches in the West Deanery of Newcastle to learn more about mental health issues and how they affect life, work and relationships. It is a forum for people in the west of Newcastle to meet to share stories and concerns about mental health care issues. Mind Matters is attended by service users and carers, clergy and interested others.

Meetings are informal, often with creative activities, an opportunity to meet and chat with others, simple refreshments and a time to prayerfully reflect on the issues of the meeting.

October: Friday 10th is World Mental Health Day
We shall identify the different events planned across the region and encourage people to attend one of these.

December: Tuesday 2nd at Holy Nativity, Chapel House from 2.00pm – 4.00pm
Relaxed creative activities.
